Hacking and Identity Theft Hacking Hackers have unwanted and unauthorised users that has knowledge of coding and has the ability to change the code that can cause problems. Hackers is dangerous for ecommerce websites since it can have unwanted and unauthorised users that gains access to secure networks. Unauthorised users that are hackers can change certain aspects of the website. So they will have access to users personal information. For example, hackers can use the user bank account details to order things online from their details before the user even knows about this. So users want their details safe and secure in the right hands and not in the hands of hackers. Every ecommerce owners and users fears from getting hacked because every user detail can be shown and the reputation of the ecommerce business can be down in seconds. Hackers aims to steal users bank details and email details. They could use user bank details to order things online without the hackers spending a penny from their own account. Hackers could sell their email details to other businesses so that they can have the latest product emailed to them. This will make the user think that they signed up for this and its normal. They could steal company datas which can contain very important information about everything they needed to make their business successful.   Ã‚   Identity Theft Its a result from being hacked, so this identity theft usually involves hackers and anyone that has unauthorised access to details from other users and they could pretend to be that user. Identity Theft is dangerous for ecommerce websites since, hacker can steal someones name, address, phone and date of birth in order to require the identity theft. For example, hackers can use the ecommerce customers identity for criminal activity and this can be bad for ecommerce business because if hackers has the customers has their details then the hackers can sell their details to other people and use it as their own identity or the hackers can use their identity to buy some stuff from the ecommerce system. So every commerce users will fear their identities being stolen as well because they could automatically blamed and be in trouble by the police since, hackers can use their identity to buy some stuff from the ecommerce website and hackers can do a criminal activity using their identity. Identity Theft aims to steal ecommerce customers identities. To could use the customer details to commit criminal activity or they can use it to order something from the ecommerce website. Viruses can be caused in websites as well. It can be caused by someone else on the internet who is seeking to cause damage to someone elses computers. A computer code can be written to gain unauthorised access to programs/files on a computer. Viruses can be dangerous for computers and ecommerce websites since, the viruses can be accessed virtually (internet) through email or physically through USB Stick.   Once they can have access to programs/files then the virus will start to damage the computer programs/files. For example, hackers will send you an email and if you open the email from the internet and you click on the email link that the hacker send you then the virus will be triggered faster and its called a payload. The abilities of the payload enables intrusive damage and popups will be shown as it tells the user that the computer is at risk. This can be bad for ecommerce business and users because customers and people who is working for the ecommerce company could have important files that could relate to the business or personal files. Viruses aims to damage the computer completely and to make sure the computer never responds to the user command. Phishing can happen by downloads from a unknown website or by third party applications usually hackers trying to get important information by mimicking and want to get a financial gain from this. It attempts to trick users to get their details like credit cards. Phishing is dangerous for computers and ecommerce websites since, it can mimic itself as a well-known company, well known group etc. and they do this get the financial gain from ecommerce employees/customers. Once the user is tricked by the phishing then the details gets stolen like credit card and other important information. For example, a hacker can send you an email and link a third party application to download so once you download this third party application then the phishing begins. From there they can access your information and steal credit card or your personal information so that the hacker or anyone can use that identity. Phishing can be bad for ecommerce business/customers because important information is being stolen and it can make the ecommerce employees/customer details get leaked. Phishing aims to leak personal information about the user, employee and business. Also maybe getting the codes to get inside of the ecommerce company. Systems failure is a hardware that cant function at all and the computer isnt responding at all whatever the user commands it to do. This can happen if the motherboard and all circuits is not failing to function. Systems failure is bad for ecommerce websites since, without a computer machine then you wont be able to run a website or you wont be able to see how much sales youve made. You wont be able to contact other customer since, customers nowadays use social media, emails to contact the ecommerce business. For example, if you want to start up an ecommerce website you will need an internet, web server and computer because without these you wont be able to start up your ecommerce website and get in contact with other customers using social media or email. Systems failures is bad for ecommerce business/customers because they wont be able to start up the ecommerce website without a computer and customers wont be able to get in touch with ecommerce businesses with email or social media. Systems failure happens if the computer doesnt function at all or the motherboards and circuits fails to function.

A Psychological Perspective in “Oedipus Rex” and “Trifles” Essay

The two plays Oedipus Rex by Sophocles and Trifles by Susan Glaspell are great with detailed and remotely fascinating psychological perspectives. A psychological perspective is a perspective that includes the use of the author’s or characters background and/or emotional state to create the story or play. Oedipus Rex and Trifles both offers a great deal of insight into the minds of the characters, that insight also focus on what influenced the characters decision throughout the play. In many stories and/or plays the setting or era can add to the moral background of the characters. Both authors let the reader in on the emotional and psychological influences of the characters as to why they acted in a certain way. A good example on how the setting sets up the entire story or play is in Oedipus Rex where the era was Greek. Throughout the play the reader/audience is introduced to Greek mythology and oracle prophecies that sets up the era of the play and also gives a persona on what type of psychological issues to expect. Another example is in Trifles where the era was 1916 when women had no importance and played secondary roles and was not equal to a man. In Trifles, the play has both psychological and feminist critical perspectives. A good example of feminist critical perspective is when the attorney and sheriff decided that there is nothing important in the room:†Nothing here but kitchen things† (287). This line is the first of many disparaging comments said to minimize the importance of woman in society. The men criticized Mrs. Wright’s housekeeping skills, irking Mrs. Hale and the Sheriff’s wife Mrs. Peters. This incorporates setting and background about the kind of era to help the reader gain the insight needed to get into the minds of the characters. In Oedipus Rex, Freud’s Oedipus complex shows throughout the play. It is a group of largely unconscious (dynamically repressed) ideas and feelings which center on the desire to posses the parent of the opposite sex and eliminate the parent of the same sex. This is exactly what happened in the play and the Oedipus complex is named after the Greek mythical character Oedipus. This is the type of psychological perspective and mind frame that Oedipus portrays in this play by not intentionally murdering his father, marring his mother, committing incest, and carrying out the oracles prophecies. The reader can conclude that Oedipus found out about what he had done by saying the following: â€Å"I think I have called curses on myself in ignorance† (755-5) fearing that he has murdered his own father. â€Å"They will all come out clearly! Light of the sub, let me look on you no more!† (1183-4) from this quote the reader can feel the psychological insight of Oedipus and how the pain of finding out the truth took an emotional drain on him. In Trifles, Mrs. Hale and Mrs. Peters unveil a psychological profile of a desperate housewife. The women observed clues that revealed the bleakness of Mrs. Wright emotional life. They theorized that Mr. Wright’s cold, oppressive nature must have been dreary to live with. To the audience/reader we could conclude that Mrs. Wright has been very unhappy since she married her husband because of this description by Mrs. Hale â€Å"She was kind of like a bird herself- real sweet and pretty, but kind of timid, – fluttery. How she did change†. The psychological perspective of the woman is that they can understand how Mrs. Wright felt, something that the men could not. The reason for that is because Mrs. Hale revealed that she lost her baby and Mrs. Peter’s talks about how a boy hatched her kitten so they both can relate to Minnie and the lost of her bird. As the reader we can look deep inside the minds of these troubled women and have some sort of compassion for Mrs. Wright and the other women. In conclusion psychological perspective allows the reader and/or audience to think on a deeper level regarding how and why the author’s work was written the way it was. When authors put a portion of themselves and their backgrounds into their writing, the reader can not only use this perspective to make sense of the author’s thoughts and feelings but understand the characters as well. In both plays the author’s show a certain insight that helps the reader understands their work on a personal level and the reader can also understand the characters emotional state of mind throughout the play. Ikemefuna Described as an Ill-Fated Lad

In the book ‘Things Fall Apart’ Chinua Achebe describes Ikemefuna as an ‘ill fated lad’. Behind the meaning of this description lie different literary elements that pay a great significance to the book, in general. Before the author describes Ikemefuna in this manner, he writes about Okonkwo’s reputation and youth. He says, referring to Okonkwo, ‘He was a wealthy farmer and had two barns full of yams, and had just married his third wife’. By saying these words, the author wants to show Okonkwo as a man who earned his good reputation by hard work and not family wealth. He also writes ‘And so although Okonkwo was still young, he was already one of the greatest men of his time’ meaning that age was not the problem for him to succeed in life. ‘As the elders said, if a child washed his hands he could eat with kings’, by stating this proverb, the author means that being one of those boys who ‘washed their hands’, Okonkwo believed that he himself, could treat anyone in this manner if they ‘washed their hands’. He compares and contrasts Okonkwo’s youth against Ikemefuna’s who is later on described as an ‘ill fated lad’. Behind the description of Ikemefuna as an ‘ill fated lad’ lies foreshadowing which shows the readers that the fate of Ikemefuna is not fortunate, and there will be some event later on in the book that will prove the description right. As well as foreshadowing, the words ‘ill fated’ are a metaphor. ‘ill fated’ if translated correctly means a fate that is ill, therefore unfortunate. Even though the passage where Ikemefuna is described is short, there lies a lot of significance that affects the book as a whole. If the readers would not have read those lines saying ‘the ill-fated’ lad, they would most likely not predict anything unusual happening to him in the future. And because this line foreshadows the coming of Ikemefuna’s unfortunate fate, the readers pay more attention to the way Okonkwo treats Ikemefuna later on in the book. They see how Okonkwo treats him like his own son, and for the first time it is seen that Okonkwo becomes interested in something more than simply power and physical strength.

Although these models did not have much support, they currently influence modern disciplines in psychology. The Renaissance was one of the most creative periods of all time where new ideas flourished and scientists explored innovative solutions. Opposed to the preceding view of scholasticism, everyone communicated their ideas and distributed them to other people since everything was written in vernacular.
